- ***If the notary does not know the signer personally, Connecticut law (see Section 3-94a(9) of the Connecticut General Statutes in Appendix B) requires that the signer provide the notary with at least two forms of identification containing the individual's signature, at least one of which also contains the photograph of the signer, or a physical description.
- Acceptable forms of Identification include:
State-issued driver’s license
State-issued identification card
U.S. military identification card
Resident alien identification card (green card)
U.S. passport
*We do not notarize POAs, Health Care Documents, Estate planning documents, Last Will and Testaments or land records that would end up in the Town’s Vault.
