Delinquent Personal Property accounts will be sent to the Marshall on June 1, 2023
There is a cash limit of $500 per visit. We accept bank checks, money orders and personal checks.

Payments can be made through our website using a credit/debit card for a fee of 2.99% or using your checking account by the echeck feature for 95 cents.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and PayPal.
Payments can be made by phone by using our online service provider. This service also has additional fees. The phone number is 1-877-271-5230.
To make a payment through our website click on the View or Pay Tax Bills button above.
If you use your own bank's online bill pay services please make sure you send the payment at the beginning of collection. Often it takes many days for it to arrive and generally they do not come with a US Postal Service Post Mark. If it is received after the due date it will be considered late.
If you are mailing at the end of the grace period you may want to go into the Post Office for the envelope to be hand stamped with the date.
If you would like a receipt for your payment, please send a self addressed stamped envelope with your payment. You can also print out a receipt of your payment by viewing the website. The report will show the date the payment was processed.
If a payment is returned by the bank there will be a fee of $20.

Delinquent motor vehicle bills from the 2020 Grand List and older (2007-2020GL) are with our collection agency Tax Serv Capital Services LLC. Please make your payments to them by calling 1-866-497-2427.
Motor Vehicles No Longer Owned
If you have received a Motor Vehicle bill with a motor vehicle you no longer own, please contact the Assessor's Office to find out what you need to do to remove the bill or have it pro-rated for the correct time period. 2022 Tax Information
Click on View or Pay Tax Bill, choose All Online Tax Payments and Payment History, insert your last name followed by a space and your first initial (do not use punctuation). The name must match your tax bill. Choose the IRS Payment Records for 2022 Option then click on Search.
On the next screen, you will see the bills. There is a blue colored bar above the bills where you can click on the box next to IRS. Once you click on it another button will appear above it that says View IRS. Click on it and you will get a report of payments made in 2022.
The Tax Collector's office is responsible for the collection of property taxes and water line assessment. The office operates under the authority of the Connecticut General Statutes and Brookfield Town Ordinances.
