Salons, Spas & Other Personal Care Studios

The Brookfield Health Department has recently began licensing hair salons, barber shops, spas, manicure/pedicure establishments, tanning salons and other personal care studios in the Town of Brookfield. Inspections will soon follow and will occur on an annual basis or in response to a complaint. Inspections will follow the guidelines of the Brookfield Salon, Spa & Personal Care Ordinance and the CT General Statutes Technical Standards. We will work with each establishement to ensure safe and sanitary conditions are being met for customers as well as workers and to reduce the possibility of infection or disease.
