Eriksen Farm Open Space
The Town of Brookfield bought this 20.2 acre parcel from the Estate of Ken and Gert Eriksen in 2009. A colonial farm house and two barns are part of the property which adjoins Huckleberry Hill School on the north side. A giving garden is located on the property. There is a flat, mowed walking trail about one third mile long. The north half of the property is wooded with wetlands. The house and barns are presently rented and not for public use. Eriksen Farm is located on Nabby Road just off Candlewood Lake Road.
