Gurski Homestead Concept Plan

The Gurski Homestead Concept Plan is a long term plan primarily created for continuing work on the hirstoric structures that are currently on the property and are in need of repair.  The State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) has easements on this property and oversees any work performed on the 18 acres that constitute the Gurski Homestead.  SHPO has required the Town to create a Master Plan and begin work on restoration of the existing structures.  Before any market, garden or ball field is created or any reconstruction begins, there would need to be approval from the Town and SHPO. The initial work will concentrate on restoration of the structures and any ball fields, garden relocation, or farmer's market changes would not be for many years.
