Mission Statement:
The primary mission of the Brookfield Health Department is to create a healthy environment for its’ citizens; through the promotion of essential public health endeavors; through the prevention of the spread of disease, premature death, illness and disability, and; through the protection of the community through emergency preparedness planning, disease surveillance and public health hazard mitigation. A primary focus will be on education of the general public with regard to each of these aspects of public health and enforcement of public health laws and regulations.
