If you email or fax your application you must also mail the completed application with your original signature to the clerk, either separately or with your absentee ballot by the close of the polls or your absentee ballot will not be counted. When your application is received, the Town Clerk will give you the ballot or mail the ballot as the case may be. When you receive your ballot the envelope will contain instructions, an inner envelope and the outer envelope. After you register your vote, insert your ballot into the inner envelope marked "B", seal, sign and date the envelope then insert envelope "B" into the outer envelope. If all these steps are not followed your vote will be rejected.
