What are the fees for recording?

As of July 1, 2009, the charge to record a document is $53.00 for the first page and $5.00 for each additional page. Warranty deeds are an additional $2.00 for the document.

If the document is a MERS document (Mortgage Electronic Registration Services), the cost is $159.00 for a release or assignment, and mortgage documents are $159.00 for the first page and $5.00 for each additional page.
