Hours for Recording:
M, T, W, F- 8am - 3:45pm
Thursdays, 8:00am - 5:30pm

Fees:
The charge to record a document is $60.00 for the first page and $5.00 for each additional page. Warranty deeds are an additional $2.00 for the document.

If the document is a MERS document (Mortgage Electronic Registration Services), the cost is $159.00 for a release or assignment, and mortgage documents are $159.00 for the first page and $5.00 for each additional page.

eRecordings:
The Town Clerk's Office accepts E-Recordings for many Land Record documents. E-Recordings are accepted 9 am — 3:30 pm EST Monday — Friday. Closed Holidays. 

Brookfield land records are now available through RECORDhub, our land record management system, with a subscription.  All images available on our system are fully redacted of social security numbers and date back to May 10, 1972.
