The Social Services office, in conjunction with community organizations and the Salvation Army, want to ensure each eligible Brookfield child will start off the school year feeling positive and prepared for a successful school experience.
If you would like to participate in the program, please call the Social Services office no later than July 11 so that we can insure that gift cards are reserved for your child. To establish your need for assistance and financial eligibility, you must document your current household income and provide bank statements during an office appointment.
Eligible children are provided:
- A Payless Shoe Store gift card. We extend our appreciation to the Salvation Army who makes this program possible each year.
- A new backpack and school supplies, both provided by The Salvation Army and supplemented by the generosity of the Brookfield Community.
- A Target gift card to be used for the purchase of a new outfit or additional supplies. Our thanks to the Brookfield community and organizations who continue their generous donations that fund a portion of this program.
