Brookfield Municipal Center

The Brookfield Municipal Center is located on 100 Pocono Road.

It is situated on 4.5 acres and offers the following amenities: Picnic Tables, Benches, Kids Kingdom Playground, Restrooms (seasonal), Soccer Fields, Softball field, access to the Still River Greenway trail and plenty of parking.

BandstandBandstand

The Brookfield Bandstand is located on 100 Pocono Rd.

This venue is home to the annual "Concerts in the Park" series that is held on Friday evenings through the summer months.

This facility is also available to Town residents for special events.

Cadigan ParkCadigan Park

Cadigan Park is located on 500 Candlewood Lake Road and is situated on 14 acres offering baseball, football, soccer, and lacrosse fields. It includes a sand volleyball court & tennis courts, as well as plenty of parking and restrooms.

Cadigan Park also offers a covered pavilion in which picnic tables and barbeque grills are located.

The Cadigan Pavilion can be rented to both residents and non-residents.  A $75.00 deposit is required for all reservations. This deposit is retained by the Brookfield Parks & Recreation office and will be used to cover any damage costs. If the site is left in good condition, the deposit will be returned to the reserving party.

Cadigan PavilionRules for Use of Cadigan Pavilion

  1. Reservation of the pavilion will be limited to groups of no more than 50.
  2. Reservation will include the use of the bathrooms. Use of the Town Beach is included during the beach season.
  3. Reservation will include use of athletic fields according to availability.
  4. Reservation can be made up to 6 months in advance for residents, and up to three months in advance for non-residents.

If you are interested in reserving the Cadigan Pavilion you must complete the Cadigan Pavilion Use Form and send it in to the Brookfield Parks & Recreation office along with the appropriate payment and deposit.

Grays Bridge FieldGrays Bridge Field

Grays Bridge field is located on 7 Old Grays Bridge Road.

This site features a Little League field that is used by the Brookfield Baseball Association.

Still River GreenwayStill River Greenway

The Still River Greenway is a two mile multi-use pedestrian/bicycle trail. The trail features a 10-foot wide paved surface, and a 170 foot prefabricated bridge over the Still River. It will provide a safe place for everyone to exercise: biking, walking, rollerblading, running. It is stroller friendly with no motorized vehicles permitted.

Lillinonah Woods is located on 54 Obutse Rocks Road. The entrance to the park is located on Route 133, just after Obtuse Rocks Road. It is situated on 68 acres of land and connects to Lake Lillinonah. This park offers fishing (by permit), hiking trails, picnic tables and parking.

Williams Park is located on 185 Whisconier Road. It is situated on 20 acres and offers fishing, hiking trails, picnic tables and parking.

Tennis is also available to Brookfield residents, by permit only, on two HarTru clay tennis courts. Season passes may be purchased at the Parks & Recreation office.

Town BeachTown Beach

Our Town Beach is located on 460 Candlewood Lake Road. It includes swimming, basketball, sand volleyball courts, restrooms, changing facilities, BBQ grills and picnic tables.

Season passes will ONLY be sold at the Parks and Recreation office. 

The beach also features our Lakeside Community Room which is available for reservations to host events up to 50 people. The seasonal main room measures 26' x 24', is climate controlled and features spectacular views of Candlewood Lake. Weather permitting, your reservation includes use of the adjacent 12' x 40' stone patio deck as well as the other amentities in the park.
