COVID CASES IN BROOKFIELD
As of yesterday, Thursday the 13th of May, Brookfield remains in the Green Zone.
In the last two weeks reported we have had 14 26 new cases of the virus in Brookfield. Cases last week were 4, down from the 10 reported for the prior week. The rate per 100K residents is 5.9, down from last week’s 10.9. The positivity rate for Brookfield is now 1.3%, down from 2.0% last week. This is excellent news but we are not out of the woods yet.
VACCINATIONS FOR 12-15 YEAR OLDS-APPOINTMENTS CAN BE MADE NOW
You can schedule an appointment for 12 to 15 year olds. Brookfield is working jointly with New Milford on vaccinating residents. 12 to 17 year olds can only receive the Pfizer vaccine. New Milford is giving the Pfizer vaccine and Brookfield is giving only 2nd dose Moderna vaccine and for walk-in, the J and J vaccine.

An email containing a unique QR code will be sent after selecting an appointment time. Minor children who attend the clinics must provide proof of age and parental consent to receive a vaccine.

2nd DOSE AND WALK-INS ARE AVAILABLE AT BROOKFIELD”S CLINIC AT ST. JOE’S FOR THOSE 18 AND OLDER
Our clinic hours for this next week are
Tuesday, May 18th 9AM to 1PM and 4PM to 7PM
Thursday, May 20th 9AM to 1PM and 4PM to 7PM
Saturday, May 22nd 9AM to 1PM and 4PM to 7PM
Going forward, Brookfield is only offering the 2nd dose Moderna vaccine and the single dose J and J vaccine for walk-ins through June 7th. Beginning May 12th, we will honor all appointments made at our clinics for the 2nd Moderna vaccine shot. If you have an appointment for the 2nd dose at our clinic in the future, we will be open to give you the shot. Our last clinic will be on June 7th.
