COVID CASES IN BROOKFIELD

As of yesterday, Thursday the 6th of May, Brookfield is finally, after more than a year, out of the Red Zone.

In the last two weeks reported we have had 26 new cases of the virus in Brookfield. Cases last week were 10, down from the 16 reported for the prior week. The rate per 100K residents is 10.9, down from last week’s 18.1. The positivity rate for Brookfield is now 2.0%, down from 2.9% last week. Brookfield’s positivity rate improved substantially again. This is below the State average.

 

APPOINTMENTS AND WALK-INS AVAILABLE AT BROOKFIELD”S CLINIC AT ST. JOE’S

Our clinic hours for next week are

              Monday, May 10th          9AM to 1PM and 4PM to 7PM

              Wednesday, May 12th     9AM to 1PM and 4PM to 7PM

              Friday, May 14thth          9AM to 1PM and 4PM to 7PM

We will be offering 1st dose Moderna vaccinations through May 10th. We are also allowing walk-ins at all of our clinics. If you need a first shot after May 10th, we will be administering the J and J vaccine.

Beginning May 12th, we will honor all appointments made at our clinics for the 2nd Moderna vaccine shot. If you have an appointment for the 2nd dose at our clinic in the future, we will be open to give you the shot. Our last clinic will be on June 7th.

On May 10th and June 1st, we will have Jane Chung playing solo violin works for those receiving vaccines from 11AM to 12 noon. This is a free performance paid for with a grant.

 

WHO CAN MAKE AN APPOINTMENT AND WHEN:

Brookfield is only able to offer the vaccine to those 18 and older
