COVID CASES IN BROOKFIELD

As of yesterday, Thursday the 22nd of April, Brookfield remains in the Red Zone.

In the last two weeks reported we have had 67 new cases of the virus in Brookfield. Cases last week were 26, down from the 41 reported for the prior week. The rate per 100K residents is 28.1, down from last week’s 42.9. The positivity rate for Brookfield is now 5.3%, down from 7.1% last week. Brookfield’s positivity rate is still over the State average but has improved substantially. All rates are falling, which is heartening.

 

NEW APPOINTMENTS AND WALK-INS AVAILABLE AT BROOKFIELD”S CLINIC AT ST. JOE’S

Our clinic hours for next week are

Monday, April 26th 9AM to 1PM and 4PM to 7PM
Wednesday, April 28th 9AM to 1PM and 4PM to 7PM
Friday, April 30th 9AM to 1PM and 4PM to 7PM

Appointments are preferred but we will now allow walk-ins any time the clinic is open. If you wish to make an appointment for the vaccine at St. Joe’s, please register on the VAMS system.

We will be offering Moderna 1st dose vaccination through May 4th. We are also allowing walk-ins at all of our clinics through the 4th.

 

WHO CAN MAKE AN APPOINTMENT AND WHEN:

Brookfield is only able to offer the vaccine to those 18 and older. If you are 16 or 17, you can make an appointment for the vaccine via the VAMS system at the Danbury Fair Mall clinic.
