Rhonda Denét and the Silver Fox Trio will take us on a musical journey from the era when the “First Lady Of Song,” Ella Fitzgerald graced the stage to when the “Queen of Soul,” Aretha Franklin ruled the airways. In addition to Ella and Aretha, the program pays tribute to Billie Holiday, Nina Simone, Nancy Wilson, Etta James, Martha & The Vandellas, Mary Wells, and Gladys Knight. Rhonda Denét is hailed as a virtuoso who lends her flair to every song she sings, with a resonant, confident voice that comes from the depths of her life, and from her life experiences.

This Silver Fox Showcase is presented in memory of long-time Brookfield resident, Elizabeth Elsenboss, sponsored by Laura Elsenboss and John Trahan. The program is free and open to the public. No tickets are necessary. Refreshments, courtesy of The Friends of the Brookfield Library, will be served following the program.
