PRELIMINARY BROOKFIELD BOARD OF FINANCE SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES

TUESDAY, MARCH 9, 2010

7:30PM

BROOKFIELD HIGH SCHOOL MEDIA CENTER

1. CALL TO ORDER – PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Chairman Tinsley began the meeting at

7:30pm.

2. ROLL CALL: Present for the Board were: Chairman Tinsley, Secretary Agard, Members

R. Jaffe, J. Friedrich, and J. Tomaino. Also Present: First Selectman Davidson and Interim Controller J. Wahlberg and members of the public.

Absent Member: Vice Chairman Belden

4. PUBLIC COMMENT/RESPONSE: None

5. BOARD OF SELECTMEN BUDGET PROPOSAL: First Selectman Davidson presented the

Board of Selectmen 2010-2011 Budget to the members of the Board of Finance. First Selectman Davidson stated that on a 2-1 vote the selectmen compromised on a budget of $53,955,900. After this presentation, several questions were asked by the Board of Finance members.

6. ADJOURNMENT: A motion was made by R. Jaffe, seconded by J. Friedrich, to adjourn

the meeting. Motion was passed unanimously. Meeting was adjourned at 9:00pm.
