On-Line Tax Payments
Brookfield taxpayers may pay their real estate, personal property and motor vehicle taxes on-line. You may also pay more than one installment at a time as long as there are no installments delinquent.
If taxes are delinquent please contact the Tax Office at 203-775-7304 for the current amount due prior to making your payment.
To use the on-line service, you need to register with our secure vendors. The list number from your tax bill (click here for sample of bill) will be required to make a payment.
Registration:
To register you will need to provide your name, address, phone number, email address, and a password.
Payment Methods:
- On-line payments: (ACH Transaction) using your checking or savings account. You will need your routing number and account number. To avoid delays, please double-check the account information as you enter it. There is a convenience fee of $2.00 for the total payment. A 12 digit bill/list number is required. See sample bill.
- Credit Cards: The Town has partnered with Official Payments to offer payment of taxes and fees by credit card. Official Payments charges a 3% convenience fee for payment processing. Use jurisdiction code 1742. A 12 digit bill/list number is required. See sample bill.
